The Saints started with the kick off. Jeff King started as the lone
striker.
The midfield was Nik Karamourtopoulos, Mike Fort, Ed Conroy, Jon DiPietro and Dan
Perreault. The Defense was Jon Kiskinis, Mike Kubiczki, Noah Schwaegerle
and David Ham. Seldon Cook started between the pipes for the Saints.
At the 5 minute mark Jon Nartiff went in at the Striker position.

outside midfield.
At the 17 minute mark King took a through ball and raced the Python
defense to the goal line. He turned and sent a pass back across the
box to a trailing Karamourtopoulos who buried the shot into the net.
While the team started to celebrate the ref blew the whistle and called
Karamourtopoulos offsides. Everyone was even more shocked when the
ball was put back at midfield and the kick given to Pelham.
This only added more determination to the Saints attack. 4 minutes
later at 21:29 Nartiff sent a quick one touch pass to Fort who went in on
the Python Keeper and beat him to the lower right corner to put the Saints
on the board.
Sebastian Olsen went in at Midfield to give the central trio a breather.
At 30:04 the Saints were awarded a corner kick that was taken by
DiPietro. The high arcing cross was coming down on the penalty mark as
the Pelham keeper came out to collect it, Kiskinis ran on and headed it into
the right side of the net to make it 2-0.
The game started to get more physical as the Pythons worked to get back
in the game. Conroy was kicked in the ankle so hard he came off the
field and ended up leaving for x-rays before the game was even over.
At Halftime the Saints were up 2-0 and feeling pretty much in control.
The saints worked even harder in the second half to control play and get
another goal.
Players were working hard to keep playing the ball and ignore the fouls
from the frustrated Python players.
Jon DeWolfe saw time up top as striker trying to get his shot on goal.
He came close a few times.
Kiskinis moved from defense to midfield for Conroy.
Nartiff and King kept alternating and making runs on the Pelham defense.
The game continued to get more physical with Pelham getting called for
numerous fouls.
Evan Surprenant, Mike Dupont, JJ Brunelle, Cam Latimer and Tapley Taylor
all saw time in the second half at outside mid and striker positions.

saves to earn his 6th shut-out.
